Editorial policy
Our editorial policy: no paid reviews, full separation of commercial and editorial decisions, disclosure of review units and conflicts, and prompt corrections.
No paid reviews
We do not accept payment, gifts or any other benefit in exchange for a review, a score, an award, or a place in a list. Brands cannot review, edit or approve our coverage before it is published. This has been our policy since 2010.
No affiliate links
We have no affiliate partnerships and earn no commission from any retailer link. “Where to buy” links are plain links for your convenience. Every link is checked automatically when the site is built, and a link carrying affiliate tracking blocks publication. Why we chose this.
Independence from commercial interests
Commercial considerations never decide which products we review, how we score them, or what we recommend.
Review units
Every review states how we obtained the unit: bought by us, loaned and returned, or provided by the brand. Loaned and provided units come with no obligations.
Conflicts of interest
If anyone involved in a review has a financial or personal interest in the brand, a competitor, or the product category, we say so in a disclosure at the top of that review — or we assign the review to someone else.
Accuracy and corrections
We check specifications against the manufacturer and our own measurements. If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and note significant corrections in the review. Report errors to editors@digitalreviewsite.com.
AI and automation
Our verdicts, scores and testing notes come from people who used the product. Any tools we use to help with drafting, translation or formatting are reviewed by an editor before publication.
