How we tested

We compare every purifier on the same checklist: airflow (CADR), filter stages, what the unit can sense, how it is controlled, what the warranty covers and what you pay. Specs on this page come from Boon’s product page; our hands-on measurements are being added as testing completes.

Filtration and airflow

The Airvana pairs a 380 m³/h CADR with dual-side intake and a four-stage filter: a washable pre-filter mesh, an H13 HEPA layer rated at 99.95% in a single pass, activated carbon for odours and gases, and an anti-bacterial coating. Boon rates it for about 484 sq ft.

Sensors and smart features

This is where the Airvana separates itself. Its AtmoScan Level 8 array reads PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10 with a laser sensor, plus TVOC, estimated eCO₂, NO₂, temperature and humidity every second. A round colour display shows the readings, and the Boon app adds scheduling, air-quality targets and diagnostics. Alexa and Google Home work today.

Running costs and warranty

The motor carries a 7-year warranty and electrical parts one year, with send-in service. Filters are excluded, and Boon does not publish a replacement price, so check it before you buy.

Should you buy it?

If you want a purifier that tells you what is in your air and lets you automate it, the Airvana gives you the most for ₹14,900. Wait if you need HomeKit now, or if a published filter price matters to you.
