The verdict

The Qubo Q500 lists True HEPA H13 filtration, a PM2.5 sensor, 500 sq ft coverage and app and voice control for about ₹11,990. It is the cheapest app-connected purifier we compared, with a single PM2.5 sensor, a 1-year warranty and fan noise up to 55 dB.

Best for

  • Budget buyers who want an H13 HEPA purifier with an app
  • Bedrooms and medium rooms up to about 500 sq ft

Skip it if

  • You want more than a PM2.5 sensor (no VOC, CO₂ or NO₂ sensing is listed)
  • You need Apple HomeKit or documented smart-home integrations

What we like

  • True HEPA H13 filter (listing)
  • PM2.5 sensor with real-time PM2.5 and AQI on the unit; QSensAI mode switches the purifier on and off by PM2.5
  • App and voice control for about ₹11,990
  • Rated for up to 500 sq ft; 9,000-hour filter life

What we don’t

  • CADR is inconsistent on the listing (350, 360 and 380 m³/h)
  • Fan noise is listed up to 55 dB, and reviewers say the AI mode can ramp up loudly; Sleep mode turns the display off
  • Only a 1-year warranty (manufacturing defects), with 7-day replacement
  • Only a PM2.5 sensor is listed, and no standout proprietary feature beyond the QSensAI mode and app
  • Launch MRP of ₹22,990 makes the "discount" meaningless; judge it on the selling price

How we tested

We compare every purifier on the same checklist: airflow (CADR), filters, sensing, controls, warranty and price. Specs here come from the retailer listing; our measurements are being added.

Filtration and airflow

A True HEPA H13 filter and a rated 500 sq ft coverage put the Q500 in the same class as far pricier purifiers on paper. Most listings give a CADR of 350 m³/h, though the Flipkart title says 380, so verify it before relying on the number.

App and smart features

App and voice control come standard at this price. The Q500 has a PM2.5 sensor and shows live PM2.5 and AQI on the unit. Its QSensAI mode turns the purifier on and off based on PM2.5, while Auto only adjusts fan speed. No VOC, CO₂ or NO₂ sensing is listed, so it is a simpler design than the Boon Airvana, Dyson or newer Coway models.

Running costs and warranty

Filter life is listed at 9,000 hours, and Qubo advises replacing the filter about once a year. No replacement price is published. The warranty is one year for manufacturing defects, and the power draw is 45 W. Fan noise peaks at 55 dB, so use Sleep mode at night.

Should you buy it?

If budget is the constraint, the Q500 is the cheapest way to get H13 HEPA with an app. If you want proven sensing, a clear warranty and better-documented specs, the Boon Airvana costs only slightly more.
